CANDLES
Enjoy lighting your very own one of a kind hand poured Kingsbury Candle. Candle enthusiasts love their natural textures, subtle scents and slow burn times.
Candle care
We recommend trimming the wick to 0.5cm before lighting each time and burning them for a minimum of 2 hours the first time you light one to create a well.
Larger candles will burn slowly down the centre forming a shell effect. Usually around a third of the way down the candle will open and you will see the flame.
We recommend placing a plate underneath to catch the melting wax.
About the wax we use
All our candles are non-GM modified, 100% palm oil based, natural and environmentally friendly.
The candles are non-toxic and contains no harmful petrochemicals.They burn clean and efficiently with no soot, have a bright flame, hold a fragrance well and have a long burn time:
- Small square – 60 hours
- Small cylinder – 60 hours
- Tall square – 200 hours
- Tall cylinder – 200 hours
Care for the environment
We set out to find sustainable palm wax and therefore only work with a supplier partnered with a member of the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). This organisation was founded by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), government bodies and industry involved in palm cultivation. The RSPO was founded to develop and define best practices for sustainable palm cultivation and to protect the environment.
All of our box packaging is made from recycled cardboard.
