Kingsbury Candle Art began with Seth Kingsbury over 25 years ago tinkering with a bag of wax and a small selection of moulds.

Originally in Sydney he began by dripping organic shapes to make candle sculptures but soon became engrossed in the natural crystal formations derived from coconut wax.

After an abundance of positive feedback from family and friends he decided to take to the markets and won best market business 2016 at the famous Eumundi markets on the Sunshine Coast.

Since then he has been creating consistently for an audience of thousands on the Australian online marketplace for artisans “The handmade Exchange” and has gained a candle loving following that return again and again to enjoy his original pieces.

He also collaborates with other local artists such as Renton from “Pottery for the Planet” and local boutiques.

Seth is a fine dining chef by trade and uses his skills with adapting temperatures to create layers and textures that highlight as the candles hollow into a shell as they burn.
